Udgam na Garba is Ahmedabad’s most loved family Garba festival, where tradition meets grandeur. Returning with Season 2, the event will light up Savanna Party Lawns from 22nd September to 1st October 2025 with 10 spectacular nights of dance, music, and devotion.
This year, Udgam takes the celebration to a new level with two unique highlights:
Daily Drone Show narrating the divine story of Goddess Durga vs. Mahishasura.
Magnificent 51 Shaktipeeth Theme Décor, crafted to immerse families in India’s sacred cultural heritage.
Alongside, audiences will enjoy performances by renowned Garba artists every night, world-class sound by L-Acoustics, and exclusive VIP experiences with valet parking and premium food courts.
More than just Garba, Udgam is a celebration of ethics, values, and togetherness, designed to preserve the spirit of Navratri while offering a safe, family-driven, and culturally enriching experience for all.
Terms And Conditions:
1. VIP Passes: VIP passes include access to the VIP seating area and Play area.
2. Child Tickets: Customers with free child pass given by the organiser is valid only for children below the age of 18. The security will allow ONLY children below 18 to enter in case they have free child pass. An ID proof with birthdate mentioned should be carried to resolve any dispute.
3. Prohibited Items: Udgam Na Garba is a non-smoking event. Heavy bags, rucksacks, lighters, firearms, and explosives are not permitted.
4. Last Entry: The last entry to the show is 60 minutes before the closing time – that is 11:30 pm. Post 11:30pm entry will be at the sole discretion of the organisers.
5. Right of Admission: The organisers reserve the right of admission and frisking for health, safety, and security reasons at any point.
6. Personal Belongings: The organisers will not be responsible for any loss or theft of personal items.
7. Ticket Policy: Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Valid government proof of identity is required for entry.
8. Force Majeure: The event is subject to force majeure conditions. In the event of calamities, adverse weather conditions, fires, or other mishaps that necessitate changes to event schedules, partial or full cancellation of the festival, the amount paid is non-refundable.
9. Strict Policy: All Garba participants must adhere to the prescribed discipline and code of conduct while present on the event ground. Participants found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or engaging in inappropriate behaviour, smoking/chewing tobacco on the garba ground will be reported to the law enforcement authorities immediately and will be taken out of the event. Their garba entry pass (wrist band) will be confiscated, and no refund will be issued. The management’s decision in such matters shall be final.
10. Timings: Garba event timings shall be in accordance with the applicable government regulations and guidelines.
11. Disputes: The decision of the Organizers shall be final in all matters of dispute or clarification. Jurisdiction for any legal disputes shall be limited to Jurisdiction of Ahmedabad Courts only.
12. Parking: Parking is subject to availability. And valet parking will be provided based on availability of manpower and parking space.
13. Rain Insurance: Only available to passes which are bought at full price. Discounted passes (For Eg. Parents, Alumni, Employee) do not have rain insurance. Since the price of the pass will be variable, the finance charges will be deducted from the amount paid and the balance refunded.
14. Video / Photo: Do not take close up photos / videos of other people without their permission.
15. Black Marketing : If we find the passes are sold for a premium- the management holds a right to cancel the pass and prohibit the entry.
Q1. How do I enter the event?
Show your QR Code / E-Badge at the registration counter to collect your physical pass. Without a pass, entry will not be allowed.
Q2. Can I share my QR Code with someone else?
No. Each QR Code is unique and non-transferable. Sharing your code may result in entry denial.
Q3. What are the event timings?
Entry starts at 8:00 PM to 12 AM.

Q11. Are kids allowed?
Yes, Udgam na Garba is a family event. Children above 5 years require a valid pass.
Q12. How does ticket pricing work?
We follow Dynamic Pricing – pass prices may increase closer to the event or as demand rises. Book early to get the best rates.
Q13. Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No. Outside food or beverages are not allowed inside the venue. Food courts are available inside.
Q14. Is smoking or alcohol permitted?
Strictly no. This is a family-friendly cultural event and alcohol/smoking is prohibited inside the venue.
Q15. What safety measures are in place?
We have security checks, CCTV surveillance, medical assistance, and a family-friendly environment to ensure everyone’s safety.
Q16. Can I buy passes at the venue?
Passes are subject to availability. Online booking is recommended to avoid last-minute issues.
Q17. What happens if it rains?
For passes bought under the general category - We have a rain insurance system in place. If the management is unable to conduct the event for less than 10 minutes on any given day, the ticket amount for that day will be fully refunded (after deducting the finance charges). Passes bought under any kind of discount- parent, student, alumni, staff or bulk passes – rain insurance is not applicable.
Q18. What is Rain Insurance?
If there is a “washout” whereby even 10 minutes of sound system is not turned on between 8 pm to 12 am, the management will declare a refund. The eligible customers will be sent a message on how to collect the refund. Typically the refund will be done after the end of Navratri and before Diwali. The finance charges will be deducted from the amount paid for the pass and remaining will be refunded on presentation of the unused ticket.
Q19. Is re-entry allowed?
No. Once you exit the venue, re-entry is not permitted with the same pass.
Q20. Are mobile phones/cameras allowed?
Yes, but professional cameras and recording equipment may require prior permission.
Q21. Will there be lost & found service?
Yes, a Help Desk will be available at the venue for lost and found items.
